Citilink's outstanding acheivements

The government must pay compensation to the consortium if public transport takes customers away from it.
The government guarantees a minimun return to the company of A$200 million per year for 34 years, a total of A$6.8 billion dollars.
It will restrict and close off access to alternative roads.
It gives a private company approximately A$1 billion of public land free to build the project.
Drivers will have to pay to use old roads which they could previously have used for free.
