We met at the GPO at 12pm as planned, then marched up to the Stock Exchange and met up with a group already there.

After a few people passed the mike round, we decided to head for Westpac, an Australian bank who have invested in the Jabiluka uranium mine. We played cat and mouse with the police for a while and then got bored with letting them think they had the upper hand, so a section of the crowd crashed through a shopping centre into David Jones, a big dept store.

Here, stunned consumers were greeted with the sight of wild activists running through the store, 'accidently' displacing store goods as they went. At the other end we menaced a McDonalds and generally freaked out the police by changing our focus/direction constantly.

Everyone then headed down to Southbank to regroup for more fun and games. But I don't know how that went as I'm here emailing! As far as individual actions go, I've heard that tram validation machines were sabotaged, the Nike strore was paintbombed.
